Relay for Life
Atonement supports and participates in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, held at Muskego High School in June each year. In 2010 we had two teams—Atonement Team Jason (in memory of Jason Traeder) and Atonement Team Carol (in memory of Carol Radaj).

With Atonement’s help, these two teams raised $4,696.00, and the local Relay for Life event raised a total of $31,000.00. There were 19 teams, and (coincidentally) 19 cancer survivors from the Muskego/Waukesha community participated in the Opening Ceremonies.
Through your participation and/or financial support, you are joining a worldwide movement to support the research needed to discover better treatments and cures for cancer…the ultimate goal being a cancer-free world for everyone!
As more information for next year's event becomes available, we will publish it on Atonement's web site. If you are a cancer survivor, or you know a cancer survivor, please sign up to participate in the 6:00 p.m. Opening Ceremony which includes the survivor/caregiver laps and balloon launch which symbolizes our hope in the victory over cancer. As the balloons rise, there is much clapping, cheering and many smiles. The Waukesha community wants to applaud and show support to all cancer survivors and their caregivers. It's an event you don't want to miss!
Together, let's continue to celebrate (all cancer survivor victories), remember (all our friends and loved ones lost to cancer) and fight back (by raising funds to continue the vital research needed) against a disease that takes too much…our friends and loved ones…gone too soon!
